Looking Inward: How to Mine Your Own Stories
Carnegie Center for Literacy
July 11-August 15
noon-1:30 pm; $78
Looking Inward is a mindful writing process that guides writers to tell the truth to themselves about themselves. This process supports the development of short works, such as personal essays and stories, and longer works, such as memoirs. This class incorporates daily journaling, weekly writing exercises, practical ways to explore life’s threads, graphic organizers, and memory devices.
Anella Wetter is the author of "Hear Me Universe," a self-published Amazon best seller and is currently writing her memoir. [ALL LEVELS]
